T-25 days until the first day of school!
Summer continues to roll on past us, and I have an exciting piece of news to share with you- thanks to an extraordinary donation, we are able to purchase instruments to start our orchestra program! Much of what we may need is on order to be picked up on Saturday, August 14. I will be in need of parents with vans who can help us pick up those instruments at Kamimoto Strings (4th and Jackson) so that we can be ready for the start of school on the 16th. There is still a gap between what the donation covers and the total cost, so we will be looking for additional support to continue to fund this program. I'll post more about that as the school year approaches.
I look forward to meeting the students of the Pioneer Bands and Orchestra and their families. I will be on campus in my room during orientation/ schedule pick-up the week before school starts to meet students and families and to answer any questions you might have.
